Only bank-verified receipts or recorded cash payments reduce the ledger balance. This prevents duplicate screenshots or failed transfers from prematurely clearing dues.
No. Every new PG starts with automatic billing and outbound reminders turned off. You can import your floors, rooms, beds, and tenants, preview how prorated rent and due dates compare against your notebook/bank records, and enable automatic billing only when you are 100% satisfied.
Your property transitions smoothly to the Continuing Free tier (covering 1 property up to 200 configured beds). We never erase, lock, or hold hostage your historical balances, receipts, checkout settlements, or CSV exports. Existing tenants also retain access to their statements.
You enter the start reading, end reading, and per-unit rate (default ₹10.00/unit, configurable per PG). The app calculates the exact interval total (end − start) × rate and suggests a proportional split based on each tenant's occupied nights during that interval. Owners sign up with a verified email address and onboard their property.
